Media Asset Manager

  • Manage SAN user space and help administer production workflows
  • On-site administrator and L1 support for our internal media management solutions as well as Adobe Experience Manager
  • L1 support for supported NLE solutions at 30 Rock (Adobe Creative Suite and Avid Media Composer)
  • Oversees the ingest, management, and archive of assets
  • Manages user onboarding and technical maintenance of Signiant, Aspera and other transport and ingest systems as needed
  • Works with Production Engineering to properly escalate technical issues.
  • Assists in training facilitation
  • Transcodes media and uploads to various delivery platforms
  • Fulfills transcode, dub, and trafficking requests as needed

Basic Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Post-Production.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Avid Media Composer, transcode and transport systems a must. Knowledge of video formats, file formats and codecs.
  • Knowledge of Post-Production ecosystems and possess ability to create and administer complex workflows to support efficiency and simplification.

  • Possess excellent client service skills and is proactive in servicing their needs
  • Ability to work independently and well with others
  • Has leadership skills, can practice excellent communication judgement
  • Ability to assess and mitigate risk proactively
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in a high-pressure environment
  • Video production machine room experience a plus
