Associate Booking Producer, NBC News Now – Morning Show

This Booking Producer position is part of show team that produces the morning show for streaming network NBC News Now. With the support of the NBC News centralized booking team they would serve as primary liaison for the morning show on NBC News Now.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Book wide variety of national and international newsmakers, experts, and guests from various fields including politics, foreign relations, business/economy, health/medicine, entertainment,
  • Conduct pre-interviews, secure facilities for remote interviews and arrange transportation for guests.
  • Arrange phone interviews for broadcasts during live, breaking news coverage.
  • Enterprise, conceptualize and pitch story ideas.


Basic Qualifications:
• College degree required
• Minimum 3 years of live, broadcasting experience including researching information and tracking down people.

• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.
• Must be willing to work in NYC.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

• Sound journalistic judgment.
• Strong Rolodex.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure and meet multiple daily deadlines.
