Senior Data Scientist, Product Innovation

Netflix, Los Gatos, California

Leading subscription service for watching TV episodes and movies

Netflix recently surpassed 100 million global subscribers—here’s Reed Hastings celebrating with a steak at Denny’s—and since we track every customer action, it means our company comfortably sits on top of one of the biggest datasets in the world. As a Senior Data Scientist working on product innovation, you will help Netflix to reach our next 100 million subscribers by leveraging vast data to perform research and make recommendations that will change how our viewers engage with the Netflix product.
Our Data Scientists perform research across a range of subject matter including algorithm development, user interface/experience, and original content. Our mission is to provide deep quantitative research around big questions to drive innovation at Netflix. Data Scientists on the team focus on a specific domain or two to ensure a deep level of expertise and ownership.
