Do you have a passion for tackling the scale that comes with processing billions of requests daily? Are you driven to create elegantly simple designs for tough architectural problems and to inspire others to do the same? If you answered yes, then we would love to talk to you!
The Playback Licensing (PBL) systems are critical to the Netflix playback experience. Each member playback begins by interacting with a PBL system, so our systems have been designed to be scalable and resilient to failures. We are looking for an experienced engineer to help us build the future platforms securing access to play our content. Through collaboration with our security and client engineering teams, you will develop enhanced Digital Rights Management (DRM) capabilities adaptive to the evolving device landscape while enabling even faster playback start times.
