To help marketing achieve this huge scale, the Ads Engineering team develops ways to simplify and automate most aspects of the sophisticated marketing campaigns and experiments We do that in the following ways...
• build a unified interface for campaign and marketing experimentation management
• build a system to automate media planning workflows at scale
• support algorithmic innovation to optimize selection of audience, budget, title, etc.
• build a unified reporting and monitoring infrastructure across all ad platforms.
You will need to work closely with other engineers, programmatic marketers and Ad Tech PMs to ensure that our campaign management system is built to scale and manage our large data flows in the most efficient manner possible. You will be responsible for ensuring the growth and scale of our systems across paid, earned and owned channels.
The Skills (Must haves):
5+ years experience with Java/Kotlin/C++
Experience working with big data products such as Hive/Pig/Hadoop
Experience with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases like Cassandra
Experience building services at scale.
Excellent communication skills and interest in being/becoming an advertising domain expert
Preferred, but not required:
Familiarity with the digital advertising space
Familiarity with containerization and workflow automation
