At Netflix, we continuously test new features and experiences that make it easier to discover and enjoy content on the service. The Innovation Ops team is a key stakeholder in this A/B testing as we help to define asset, data, and operational solutions for these future Netflix experiences.
We’re looking for exceptional Asset Coordinators to join our team and provide setup, tracking, troubleshooting and general support of assets (artwork, metadata, video) used in the slate of A/B tests.
The Coordinator will execute on asset implementation plans put forth by our Innovation Project Managers. This plan generally encompasses asset setup and ingestion within our internal asset and data management tools, compiling all required assets across creative and content partners and tracking of these assets as they’re created and delivered. This role is also responsible for troubleshooting asset-related issues as well as identifying tooling and workflow optimizations to continue streamlining the end-to-end fulfillment workflow.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and someone who thrives in an environment that relies on their self-discipline and ability to set and meet simultaneous daily and long-term deadlines. They are extremely curious, detail-oriented, technically knowledgeable across asset types / systems and a strong communicator who responds well in a fast-paced environment.
This role is based out of our Los Angeles, CA office.
Sourcing, setup, ingestion and tracking of assets (video, artwork, metadata) in our asset and data management systems
Troubleshoot ingestion and setup issues with Engineering and Support teams
Submit assets for localization as needed and track subtitles and dubbed audio as they are delivered
Identify fulfillment tooling opportunities and partner with Systems on enhancements
Support testing of non-standard tooling use cases with direction from Innovation Project Managers
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience with fulfilling and managing large sets of assets in complex asset / data management environments.
Can confidently connect the dots between seemingly disparate data and asset systems.
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and willingness to pivot workflows as needed
Strong knowledge of A/V and Artwork file types and specifications
Superior asset management, problem-solving, prioritization and communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
Background in entertainment or media (studio, creative agency, etc.)
Passion for film, television, tech
