The Employee Technology team’s mission is to empower Netflix employees with amazing technology and support to do their best work. We operate under the core principles of simplicity, service, security and scalability to optimize the productivity of our employees.  We are looking for a stunning manager to lead this initiative for our APAC region. The role will be based in Singapore with team members located in offices across APAC.

The APAC Employee Technology leader will be responsible for the helpdesk (Nerds) and audio visual (AV) functions for the region. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, and has a successful track record building high-performance technical support teams.  We are also looking for an individual that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and welcomes the challenge of solving complex problems with simple, effective solutions.   • B.S. in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ years leading an IT, Desktop Support, AV, or System Administration team 
  • Expert at balancing efficiency and quality success metrics of an IT helpdesk operation
  • Successful track record leading regionally distributed team members
  • Strong foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, applications, and operations
  • Experience supporting Cloud and SaaS Applications with a strong preference for Google G Suite experience
  • In depth knowledge of and the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting on Mac OS, Chrome OS, Windows 7, 8 & 10, Linux, and various applications including Office and Adobe suites
  • AV and conference room support experience with a strong preference for Google Meet and CFM experience
  • Deep experience optimizing in-person and remote support models


  • Develop the APAC Nerds and AV team members to best support the technology needs of our employees
  • Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners such as infosec, facilities, and events teams
  • Advocate for improving employee productivity in APAC
  • Develop an APAC support roadmap that is in sync with the vision of the broader Employee Technology Organization
  • Navigates roadblocks for the team using great judgment to deliver an amazing tech support experience
  • Constantly innovating to improve the employee self service experience (i.e. development of self service tools, education, and intranet/knowledgebase)
  • Work with senior executives across the organization to understand and solve the technical challenges and needs of their respective groups
  • Write articulate memos to socialize and get feedback on new ideas, proposed tests, and to gain broader alignment on key tech support decisions
