We are seeking an experienced people leader who is passionate about bringing teams together and excels in a fast-paced product innovation organization. This leader will manage our team that brings to life our UI features, personalization algorithms and promotional mechanisms through stellar execution of A/B tests and sophisticated launches of our unique original programming for our global Netflix service.
Our team leader will focus on building partnerships with direct reports and with peer teams, including Creative Marketing Production, Editorial Creative, Product Studio, Producers, Globalization and Operations teams. These partnerships ensure our larger organization’s balance of art and science is reflected to Netflix’s growing domestic and international member base. The manager’s work will take many forms - ranging from mentoring ICs on tactical, strategic and interpersonal challenges, to refining product specs or brainstorming big ideas with product managers, to championing for efficient tooling and workflow solutions with solutions architects - all on any given day.
In this role you will:
Lead our team of program managers to consistently execute innovation projects with stellar craftsmanship
Manage and allocate team resources based on business priorities
Collaborate with peer leaders in Product Innovation, Creative Marketing, Design, Product Creative, and Engineering, to ensure alignment on organizational priorities
Advise and consult with ICs on implementation of projects and engagement with stakeholders
Develop skills within the team to meet evolving business needs
Lead efforts to successfully productize features in our service with cross functional teams
Frequent travel is required between our California headquarters; occasional additional travel is also included
