Do you love movies and TV shows? Are you interested in sharing unique content with viewers around the world? We are seeking an entertainment-savvy Spanish Language analyst to join the International Editorial team at Netflix and help categorize television series, specials, and movies for our 100+ million users. You will be tagging, rating, researching, and enhancing metadata for the Netflix catalogue primarily in Spanish in a high-volume, high-quality, deadline-driven environment. In addition, you will collaborate on special projects with cross-functional business partners, while striving to deliver delightful, trustworthy user experiences on a global scale. 

The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of global Spanish content and passionate about Media & entertainment. Must be able to write efficiently in English and Spanish with attention to detail, should be comfortable using a variety of publishing tools, and is thoughtful in the delivery of information while working on diverse content within an eclectic team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Watch, research, rate, tag, annotate and write analysis reports for movie and TV content
  • Quality assurance review of content metadata
  • Timely and efficient completion of all projects
  • Being aware of political, social or other sensitive content from the region and able to flag them appropriately.  
  • Multitask and self-manage other Editorial projects that require cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to quickly master internal tools and systems, and fluency in Excel, Tableau, Google Sheets and other data management systems

Qualifications:

  • Native level fluency in Spanish a must
  • Fluency in Portuguese or other European languages a plus
  • Passionate about movies and TV with a deep knowledge about the global Spanish and Latin American entertainment market
  • Keen understanding or interest in Spanish (from Spain) and Latin American culture and history, including current affairs
  • Ability to distinguish nuances within different movie and TV genres and distill the essence of a movie/show, including share findings in a concise manner
  • Ability to multitask and self-manage projects that require cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving, professional environment
  • Ability to remain objective and deliver constructive analysis
  • Experience working with large data catalogues or education/experience in media/video industry or archival studies a plus
