We are seeking a passionate program manager to work in our product innovation organization, who will impact our global Netflix service and delight our millions of members by bringing to life our UI features, personalization algorithms and promotional mechanisms through stellar execution of A/B tests and sophisticated launches of our unique original programming.
For every episode you watch or every row you browse through, there is a choreography of UI and algorithm features at work. The Program Manager partners with our Product Managers and Engineering teams to nimbly execute on delivering the A/B tests of such UI and algorithm features; the Program Manager drives projects to completion in the short term while proactively championing long-term, scalable solutions that support the growing needs of our global studio.
As a member of the Creative Production team, the Program Manager focuses on the metadata, textual, visual and motion assets artistically created within CP. Therefore, the manager’s daily work can range from sitting in on creative UX design explorations, to listening in to Consumer Insights focus group sessions, to ideating and delivering alongside UI and data science engineering teams, to consulting on next steps given the statistical results of the last A/B test - all in a collective effort to consistently deliver a premium, delightful experience to our growing domestic and international member base.
Lead the execution of A/B tests for the global Netflix product that requires the building of new metadata and data schemas; textual, visual or motion assets; or asset workflows
Create, manage and execute project plans for product feature initiatives across Product Innovation, Product Design, Marketing, Creative Production, and Engineering teams
Collaborate with key subject matter experts across editorial creative teams to plan, scope and execute on simultaneous projects
Drive efforts to successfully transition A/B test implementations to productized states for the Netflix service, and internal tools and workflows
Frequent travel is required between our California headquarters

The ideal candidate has worked cross-functionally at consumer-facing digital products or catalogs and understands how to combine textual and visual merchandising tactics into an engaging and functional experience for visitors. This person is equally comfortable with parsing through analytical data that supports consumer merchandising, with addressing a room of high-level product innovators, and with influencing engineering decision-makers through their healthy technical literacy. They must bring a critical editorial eye to product initiatives and be concise, definitive, and convincing in their well-founded recommendations.
