The successful candidate will display the curiosity to learn the Netflix business, understand our anime strategy, and make smart creative choices to land our titles in the zeitgeist.
Creatively, our goal on the marketing team is to build campaigns that drive earned media and social conversation. The social leader will manage agencies, develop creative, and work with producers and talent to execute a creative vision. He or she will need to have impeccable taste, vision for how to stand out from the competition, and a strong instinct for ideas that will get consumers talking. In addition to building campaigns, the successful manager will be a thought-partner to our content, publicity, and marketing teams, and build strong relationships with our production partners to enable creative innovation.
The right hire will bring a deep knowledge of the social media landscape, including a strong understanding not only of their features and technology, but of the new consumer behaviors emerging everyday. The manager will have 7+ years of experience with some combination of consumer brand, media, entertainment, and agency work in marketing and communications.
