Product Creative Studio is responsible for defining and developing the creative strategy for how titles on Netflix are creatively represented to over 200M members around the world.  Our purpose is to create joy for our members by helping them discover stories they’ll love - and we do this by marrying entertainment and visual storytelling with data and innovation to develop creative (artwork and video) for touch points across the Netflix experience.

We are looking for a world class Designer to establish the product artwork design team in Asia Pacific. You will be partnering with creative producers, external agencies, freelancers and other internal creatives to create visually stunning and effective artwork for Asian titles within the Netflix member experience. This unique opportunity blends hands-on design, art direction and project management in a fully autonomous environment. You’re smart, resourceful, confident, highly competent and mature. You’re a skilled communicator who welcomes and gives honest, candid feedback. As a member of our design team, you'll be one of the architects of our mission and help create delightful creative experiences for our members around the world.

About the job

  • Conceive, create and direct inspiring, high-quality digital artwork (Key Art) at scale. 
  • Demand excellence and have a clear POV on quality and regional nuance. 
  • Build strong relationships with cross functional partners in a fast paced environment.
  • Develop systems for creating high-quality work that require short timelines.
  • Champion design innovation - learn, apply and test new design practices.

The Right Stuff

  • 7+ years working within a digital, creative environment (agency and/or in-house) for a tech/entertainment/consumer brand.
  • Proven ability to create and direct high-quality creative (portfolio required).
  • Expert in all aspects of developing creative in a digital, product or user-centric space.
  • Passionate about producing data-informed, measurable effective artwork.
  • Able to build strong cross functional relationships with both technical and creative partners.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Understand, advocate, and embody the company’s values and team goals.
  • A good sense of humor.  
  • A love for movies and TV shows.
