The Team
The Studio & Corporate Security Partnerships team delivers a balanced approach to securing our workforce. We're looking for our next Security Partner to lead security conversations between Information Security and our business departments, focusing initially on our emerging Animation Studio. This group owns the picture of risk in their stakeholder's ecosystem, guides them during incidents, secures business workflows & technical ecosystem, and delivers targeted awareness. Things move fast at Netflix, and this team is essential to ensuring strong alignment that in turn reduces critical risks.

The Opportunity
This role will be the key security point of contact for Netflix Gaming leadership, and stakeholders. You will be building relationships with key departments to develop a deep understanding of the line of business, their key security objectives and to drive informed security context into their teams. This role will also provide guidance back to our Information Security team to enable them to develop solutions that can align well with the business. You will be a champion of reducing risk within their line of business through sound security principles and guidance. Establishing channels of high-quality transparency and communications with the Gaming stakeholders will be instrumental to succeed as they will look to you for direction and guidance for all security matters.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have the following skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications and deliver insight to a diverse audience
  • Easily partner and forge relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Care deeply about creating a team that models psychological safety and inclusivity, where team members can do their best work
  • You have breadth across multiple Information Security domains and depth in a few
  • You have built and grown security services and programs in your previous experience and understand how to measure the impact
  • You are self-motivated and can deal well with ambiguity
  • Passionate about security. You have the curiosity and self-drive to continuously learn new techniques and tools to secure the enterprise. 
  • Experienced in the video game industry. You have some familiarity with the video game industry and an interest in gaming.

Bonus skills:

  • You have some gaming industry experience and are deeply passionate about games.
  • M&A experience.
  • Understand the game dev process, common dev tools, knowing how to align with primary stakeholders
  • Align senior leadership and key stakeholders around information security best practices.
  • Familiar with risks of working with third-party studios and high profile game titles
