The Content Strategy Planning & Analysis team is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team in Amsterdam. The role will report to the Manager of Content FP&A and assist with day to day financial planning exercises. The analyst position will reside within the company's Amsterdam office and be responsible for analysis used in Netflix’s content financial planning and strategic decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with financial scenario analysis to support management's strategic decision making
Manage key title metadata in FP&A forecasting system to ensure forecast accuracy
Assist the Manager of FP&A with analysis and ad hoc projects
Point of contact for processing system changes within Netflix forecasting tools
Assist with data validation and reconciliations
FP&A budget management for key initiatives within Netflix’s content ecosystem

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates are required to be analytical and be strong, effective communicators.
Prior experience in financial planning & analysis / commercial finance is preferred.
Entertainment industry experience is not essential, although a passion for entertainment is a must.
This person must thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.

REQUIREMENTS

+2 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Excel & financial modeling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4-year degree in relevant field with strong academic performance (Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics)
Proficiency in English. Other language skills strongly desired. Clear and concise communication abilities required.
