The team is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Nextdoor’s For Sale & Free marketplace where neighbours exchange billions of dollars worth of goods every month. You should be passionate about bringing neighbourhoods online and deepening Nextdoor’s impact within communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance at the architecture and product level.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of shipped software.
  • Ensure project health and progress using project management tools such as JIRA.
  • Facilitate collaboration across engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • BS in relevant technical field, or equivalent work experience. 
  • 6+ years of relevant engineering experience, working on the development of consumer web/mobile applications.
  • 3+ years of hands-on technical management experience leading fullstack teams including backend, frontend, iOS and Android engineers.
  • Demonstrated passion for product-lead engineering.
  • Experience working with Designers, Product Managers, and User Researchers
