Is your passion to solve problems and make software development process better? Do you like to work closely with your team members and guide them through the Agile processes? We are looking for a Team Lead to our development team who is building a state-of-the-art digit commerce platform for a blue-chip telecom company with more than 100 million end users in the United States of America.

The project leverages Elastic Path Commerce, built with widely used Java open source technologies. One of the core components, Elastic Path Cortex, is patent-pending hypermedia API, allowing developers to assemble resources from multiple business platforms into one unified API. Cortex conforms rigorously to the HATEOAS constraint and Level 3 of the Richardson Maturity Model, making it one of the most advanced APIs. These technology platforms have advanced the world’s biggest brands like Google, Symantec, Time Inc and Virgin Media, to name a few.

The toolbox of the project includes:

Core - Java 8/11, Spring Boot
Frameworks – Spring, JPA
Databases - Oracle, DynamoDB
Cache – Redis
Search engines - Elastic Search, Solr
Integration - RESTful level 3, Apache Camel, ActiveMQ, Kinesis, SQS
Scalable architecture - AWS stack, Docker, k8s, Apigee
CI/CD - GitLab
Observability - AppDynamics, Splunk
Quality control - SonarQube, Cucumber, Rest Assured
Specification - Open API (Swagger)
Elastic Path - e-commerce platform
Building tools - Maven

Your main responsibilities will be:

Hands on development: work on new features and optimize current ones
Facilitate team delivery process
Decompose technical requirements into set of implementable tasks
Advocate team in communication with Product owner or parallel development teams
Coach and guide team to follow AGILE principles and practices
Drive process and ways of work improvements

We would be excited if you have several of the following:

In depth knowledge in Java, Spring software development
Team leading experience
Aspiration for high quality code driven by test automation and code reviews
Proficiency in REST API’s
Capability to support live production systems
Detective mind able to come up with solutions
Good communication skills in English for international teamwork
Team spirit and skills to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment

Salary range (bruto) 4000 - 5800 EUR.
