The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the company’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. This will include preparing and/or assisting with federal, state, and local tax filings.


  • Reconcile monthly credit card cash receipts to merchant & bank statements
  • Prepare various monthly General Ledger journal entries
  • Prepare various Balance Sheet and bank reconciliations and other month end close duties
  • Manage fixed asset and capital lease accounting for the company
  • Participate in review of trial balance and financial statements for completeness and accuracy as needed
  • Accounts Payable function
  • Prepare Quarterly and Annual State and local tax filings (B&O tax, Personal Property, etc.)
  • Maintain business license renewal program
  • Collaborate with sister company accountants to ensure intercompany transactions balance
  • Provide outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
  • Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university preferred
  • Degree in or emphasis on Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in Accounting required
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read and analyze financial reports
  • Strong understanding of US tax regulations
  • Familiarity with GAAP and IFRS accounting and maintaining appropriate accounting records
  • Extremely detail oriented
