Notarize is seeking an experienced Director, Channel Partnerships to build our channel sales go-to-market strategy and develop the team, processes, and commercial structures to execute successfully against it. This position will report to the VP Sales.

Notarize has developed a disruptive web and mobile technology that allows anyone to notarize a document online quickly, easily, and securely. While we offer a Consumer application, our focus is on scaling our B2B2C products that enable Enterprises, Mortgage Lenders, and SMBs to collect notarized documents from their customers. It is an enormous market - over 1.25 billion notarizations are performed annually - that impacts some of the country’s largest companies and industries, most of whom have no available solution today. Further, by virtue of our mature, best-in-class API - which is already being used by many partners - the opportunities for successful product and channel partnerships are vast. The Director Channel Partnerships will help us capture these opportunities and meaningfully expand our revenue base.

You will:

  • Be passionate about creating partnerships that deliver joint value and true incentive alignment
  • Have the creativity and curiosity required to help us fundamentally reshape an industry
  • Be able to work effectively across functional teams, in particular with Product / Engineering counterparts, to support prospective and existing partners
  • Contribute to a positive team environment

Responsibilities include:

  • Actively source new partner opportunities, foremost to drive revenue for our Mortgage and Business products but also to expand our Consumer user base
  • Quantify the revenue potential and costs of various partner opportunities and prioritize based upon a clearly defined set of metrics
  • Partner with Product / Engineering to drive the growth of our developer API ecosystem via strategic product integrations
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, and Frontline Operations to ensure resources are aligned in support of high-potential partnerships
  • Work with the VP Sales to develop commercial terms and models that meet Notarize’s financial objectives
  • Evangelize Notarize within key strategic verticals and uncovering creative, leveraged opportunities for expansion

You have:

  • 5-10 years experience in channel sales, preferably in a role where you’ve materially grown a program and team
  • Significant experience with SaaS products and APIs, particularly for high-growth companies
  • Comfort with various indirect sales models, ranging from product integrations to marketing/sales referral relationships
  • A passion for technology and an ability to develop a deep understanding of our product quickly
  • A self-starter mentality and an ability to take full ownership of multiple concurrent partner opportunities
  • An orientation towards execution and a high level of accountability in terms of meeting targets and using data/evidence to measure performance and prioritize efforts
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • A sense of humor
