Optimus Ride headquarters are located in the Boston Seaport District. The Role
The Operations Associate will be the designated operations lead on the shift that they are assigned to. Operations Associates will be largely responsible for the successful daily execution of our autonomous vehicle service. Operations Associates will manage the coordination of vehicles and Testers to deliver a professional passenger transportation service.

Operations Associates will also be responsible for coordinating efforts to maintain the site office as well as pay close attention to the customer experience throughout our service and communicate any potential improvements to the Market Manager.

Operations Associates may also be required to assist in any event planning and execution. Operations Associates will be the primary assistants to the Market Manager at the site to which they report to and will fulfill and/or coordinate any operations tasks that the Market Manager assigns to them.

There will be an Operations Associate for each deployed site and on each shift (AM / PM) of the 12 hour weekday service operation. As such, there will always be an Operations Associate responsible for opening and/or closing and to address any operational issues during service.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to assigned site during designated shift (AM or PM)
  • Coordinating the successful execution of opening/closing procedures
  • Ensuring the successful execution of autonomous vehicle passenger service including, but not limited to, managing reservations or on-demand requests, ensuring vehicle cleanliness and operator professionalism, and executing tasks to improve the overall customer experience
  • Updating all operations procedures to improve site efficiency and professionalism
  • Setting up and maintaining office equipment
  • Assisting the Market Manager in tasks to maintain an efficient, clean, and organized site
  • Focus on the customer relationships and communicate any potential improvements to the customer experience to Market Manager and/or Operations team
  • Assisting in event planning and execution including, but not limited to, customer engagement events, company demonstrations, and client engagements
  • Performing various fleet management tasks such as registering and inspecting vehicle and basic vehicle maintenance

Bonus

  • Associate’s/Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably business or operations
  • Previous management experience
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing position
  • Strong passion for delivering a professional transportation service
  • Previous experience as a tester
