The Role
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support the Finance team in building a scalable accounting and finance operations infrastructure. You will own the general accounting processes and help manage incoming and outgoing cash flows in an efficient, controlled manner.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct day-to-day accounting operations, including GL management, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and reconciliations
  • Manage the procure-to-pay process and ensure that accounts payable are paid on time
  • Manage the order-to-cash process and ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements for internal and external reporting
  • Develop and maintain a documented system of accounting policies, procedures, and controls
  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for annual audits
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance processes, including the accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of overall combined Accounting and Finance experience
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements
  • Ability to effectively balance multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and collaborative work style with ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • CPA

Bonus

  • CPA/CMA strongly preferred
  • Experience in high technology companies
  • Experience with Netsuite
