Oscar is looking for a Product Intelligence strategist to support the Product team’s mission to use technology and design to revolutionize the healthcare experience. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a talented team of Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring that Oscar stays ahead of and is closely monitoring industry trends while shaping our Product strategy and prioritization frameworks.

You are: 

  • Experienced - You have experience in research, as well as domain knowledge in the healthcare technology space.

  • Articulate - You’re able to effectively represent the needs of the product team and the Oscar company strategy and mission in conversations with external parties, and you communicate clearly and concisely in written form.

  • Mission-driven - You have a passion for fixing the problems in the healthcare system and will help in any way you can to enable us to achieve our ambitious goals.

  • Collaborative - You enjoy working cross-functionally to accomplish greater goals as a team.

  • Tech savvy - You grasp technical concepts quickly and are as comfortable working side-by-side with technical teams on ideation and elaboration.

Your day-to-day will include: 

  • Providing guidance to all Product leads about what’s happening and evolving in health tech in each of their domain areas

  • Assisting Product leads with prioritization and thinking through how we can most differentiate amongst the rest of the industry

  • Helping Product teams assess health tech companies that we may want to consider partnerships with, and making recommendations about what companies we should engage more deeply with, as well as facilitating many of those conversations

  • Helping Oscar build thought leadership in the areas of healthcare technologies, ranging from consumer engagement or care management platforms to provider-facing tools and everything in between!
