A World-Changing Company

At Palantir, we’re passionate about building software that solves problems. We partner with the most important institutions in the world to transform how they use data and technology. Our software has been used to stop terrorist attacks, discover new medicines, gain an edge in global financial markets, and more. If these types of projects excite you, we'd love for you to join us.

The Role

Palantir Technologies's Legal Team, know internally as the Legal Ninjas, is seeking a motivated Corporate and Securities Paralegal to join our team and help us navigate through the myriad of equity and corporate governance related challenges that we face around the world, particularly when we first begin engagements in a new country.

As a Corporate and Securities Paralegal, you will manage, anticipate, and action global corporate governance matters as well as various equity issues and employee needs across Palantir offices in the U.S. and abroad. You will leverage your strengths in organization, resourcefulness, detail orientation, and diligence, taking a proactive and responsive approach to the needs of the team and business. You will be joining a team that values collaboration, creativity, and a sense of humor, and that sees itself as key to Palantir's mission and growth. Your commitment to both diligently managing your responsibilities and providing added value unasked sets you apart from your peers.

Palantir is a global company. We're looking for a Corporate and Securities Paralegal keen to join a team that is at the forefront of managing Palantir’s global footprint, cultivating Palantir's equity philosophy and connecting with folks across the Palantir community. Most importantly, you’re excited to join and contribute to a dynamic company solving some of the world’s hardest problems.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Executives, Finance, People Operations, Legal Ninjas, and other global teams to anticipate, implement and/or address corporate governance and equity compensation matters.
  • Anticipate, action and take ownership of U.S. and global corporate governance matters, such as international entity formation and compliance, regulatory filings, and board and shareholder actions.
  • Assist in the global administration of Palantir’s equity program.
  • Maintain corporate records of both our U.S. and non-U.S. entities and support various transactional matters, including interfacing with the Board of Directors.
  • Serve as a point of contact to other parts of the business, answering questions about our various global entities, and helping other teams implement the roll-out of various Finance, Accounting, Banking, Immigration and Employment-related matters.
  • Identify and implement improvements to current operations and workflows.

What We Value

  • At least 2 years of experience as a corporate paralegal in-house or at a law firm.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Working experience with Shareworks or similar equity administration software.
  • Knowledge of private company equity-related administration and legal concepts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, and experience improving and streamlining processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, problem-solve, and complete complex projects under pressure.
  • Impeccable judgment, discretion, and integrity.
  • Flexible schedule – we still operate in start-up mode, and fire drills don't always stop at 5pm.
  • Willingness to do some travel – you will be based in New York, but spend time in Palo Alto, CA, and may need to travel to some of our non-U.S. offices on occasion.
