The Role

As an Accounting Analyst, you will work with other members of the business and the Finance Team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will drive process improvement and own sections of the financial statement from start to finish, integrating with partners within the Finance Team and from around the business. In this role, you will be responsible for reconciling accounts, determining accounting treatment of unique transactions, and recording related journal entries. You will create innovative outcomes and provide analytical insights. As a key player of our team, you will be encouraged and empowered to challenge the status quo when something is broken. 

In this role, you will:

  • Own general ledger accounts and their related processes from beginning to end.
  • Help implement, design, and improve processes for assigned workflows.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statement disclosures.
  • Interface with external auditors.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity of financial data.
  • Assist on projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed.

What We Value

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years of total experience within public accounting and technology industry required.
  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting and U.S. GAAP.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly analytical, with strong problem solving ability and a demonstrated history of making improvements to processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • CPA (preferred, but not required).
