The Role

As a Global Conference Producer, you’ll be the operational backbone of our key conference engagements, working cross-functionally to support the team, company leaders, track and stabilize projects, remove roadblocks, and anticipate business stakeholders’ needs in order to enable your creative counterparts to be as productive and impactful as possible. You are a person who loves fixing problems and embraces the best idea, even when it is not your own.

In this role, you will be a part of a team of talented individuals who are just as passionate about supporting one another as they are about Palantir’s mission. Accuracy, flexibility, communication and ownership are paramount and should be among your greatest strengths. You excel at constructing order out of chaos and at solving problems creatively.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive projects forward and own the outcomes, whether working autonomously or collaboratively
  • Lead various types of activations – including trade shows and executive level conferences, domestically and internationally
  • Partner with Palantir’s internal stakeholders to scope projects / initiatives and deliver results on-time, on-budget, and at a high quality bar
  • Craft and implement processes that enable the teams / projects you support to use their resources most effectively
  • Prioritize commitments to maximize time and productivity
  • Leverage the collective knowledge of the team – learn and develop expertise to cover a critical gap or bolster important efforts and projects.
  • This role will require travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time to other Palantir offices, external conferences, and field events.

What We Value

  • Experience in a combination of administrative, project management, process optimization, and execution skills is required.
  • Ability to communicate prioritization and deadlines with internal and external stakeholders, and build constructive, high-trust relationships across teams and functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; able to navigate complex situations with many different people and viewpoints. You're open to new ideas and not afraid to learn from failure.
  • Capacity to learn new skills and technologies to deliver the most effective solutions, and understand, translate, and communicate technical concepts to others.
  • Sound judgment, with the ability to recognize inefficiencies within projects in your orbit and quickly adapt to mitigate these.
  • High levels of attention to detail, including maintaining accurate records and diligently tracking key project metrics.
