About the role:

The Outbound Sales Development Representative is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Manager of Sales Development.  A successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the market, and converting prospects into Paxata Sales opportunities.
The Outbound Sales Development Representative will be a vital cog to help drive revenue to the company. Paxata is the leader in one of the hottest sectors within information management – data preparation. You will play a key part in expanding the Paxata brand as the pioneer for self-service data preparation
You will work closely with Account Executives to perform outbound prospecting and insure smooth transition of opportunities. You will be measured by opportunity generation and will be given the flexibility to create a book of business of your own.  We encourage account development through outbound prospecting, social selling, networking, and any sales activity that would contribute to expanding the Paxata brand. You are a self-starter, competitive, and motivated individual who will be the first line of engagement with prospects and will have an impact on the success of Paxata as an organization.   

Responsibilities:

  • Manage minimum 45 daily outbound calls and personalized emails to targeted accounts
  • Send personalized emails to engage with prospects
  • Work in tandem with AE Teams on territory plans
  • Utilize LinkedIn and Twitter to expand network and open new opportunities
  • Turn unqualified accounts to prequalified opportunities
  • Documentation within SFDC

Requirements

  • 1+ years of successful outbound experience
  • History of exceeding or over exceeding quota
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to quickly conceptualize and articulate our solution sets and value propositions
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Must have analytical skills to evaluate success against target metrics 
  • Experience in SFDC a requirement
