Reliability Test Technician

The Quality Team at Peloton has created two new Reliability Testing Technician roles. These technicians will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, inspecting, testing, and reporting any errors around the reliability of Peloton's products to Peloton's Test and Measurement Services Engineers, along with performing qualitative tests using test instruments. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting electrical and/or mechanical reliability testing of manufactured, packaged, or tested products.  

These positions will be an integral part of the exciting team buildout for the Test and Measurement Services team, and will be based in our Lab in Secaucus, NJ. This setting is at the epicenter of Peloton's Research and Development for current and future products. 


  • Conduct lab test work around test program schedules and equipment availability.
  • Monitor lab-based tests as directed by senior team members.
  • Report daily results to corresponding test engineer.
  • Perform basic measurements using scales, calipers, multimeters, thermal probes, etc.
  • Complete lab tasks specified by daily checklists, keeping records of testing history.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted.
  • Assemble custom and off-the-shelf test equipment.
  • Own lab cleanliness.
  • Keep test equipment and tools organized.
  • Perform other lab-based work as directed and required.
  • Maintain records of test unit inventory.



  • At least 2 years working in a lab space is preferred.
  • Experience with Basic Hand Tools preferred.
  • Shop experience preferred. 
  • Experience with motors and motorized systems, mechanical and electrical training, pneumatics, wiring and cable routing
