MVI Health is developing a cutting-edge healthcare virtual reality project that is unlike anything you’ve seen before. If you are a product-oriented engineer who thrives in small, collaborative teams, and who wants to make a positive difference in people's lives, this position may be for you. As our QA Automation Engineer, you will work directly with the engineering team to design and implement tests to help maximize the team’s ability to iterate quickly on a complex system.

How You'll Contribute; What You'll Achieve

  • Architect, design, and implement automated tests of the browser-based software component of an advanced healthcare technology system.
  • Architect, design, and implement tests (preferably automated) of Android/tablet component of the system.
  • Participate in integration tests, which include virtual reality and on-body sensor system components with the QA team.
  • Design and perform manual tests for regular software releases.
  • Surface and assign bugs to engineers with clearly written repro cases.

What You Bring

  • The desire to work with a small, collaborative team.
  • Experience working on projects that started small and scaled up dramatically, with lots of moving parts.
  • Experience architecting, designing, and implementing automated tests for browser-based Software-as-a-Service.
  • Understanding of computer science fundamentals; interest in VR, health data, and IoT.
  • Experience writing clear tickets in Jira or similar project management software.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
