The Equipment Maintenance Supervisor oversees equipment maintenance activities, and ensures that maintenance and calibration activities are performed according to current standard operating procedures and work instructions.
What You'll Work On
Supervise equipment maintenance schedule and coordinate maintenance assignments and training.
Prioritize scheduled and unscheduled repairs and equipment related issues.
Coordinate with purchasing and calibration activities to ensure that measurement equipment needed for equipment maintenance activities is available.
Ensure that spare parts needed for equipment maintenance activities are available.
Perform all functions related to managing equipment technicians, including hiring, training, evaluating, delivering performance feedback, and terminating personnel as necessary.
Ensure that staff is trained and following maintenance procedures.
Maintain equipment files, equipment labeling, and housekeeping to ensure that the equipment area is audit-ready at all times (ISO, FDA and internal audits).
Allocate resources as appropriate to ensure that daily workload is efficiently completed.
What You Bring
High School or GED, plus five years of direct equipment maintenance and leadership experience in a clean room environment.
1-2 years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
The ability to effectively interact with technicians from a wide variety of disciplines and backgrounds.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems.
