Salesforce CRM Manager – Sales and Marketing

As a Salesforce CRM Lead will be part of the growing Salesforce practice within Penumbra, serving as a Subject Matter Expert to Marketing, Sales, eCommerce and delivery teams on Sales, Service, Health and Marketing Cloud features from Salesforce.  These are primary areas but not limited to these as there are surrounding systems within the Enterprise such as, Merlin, ShowPad, DropBox, Quickbase, cVent, and Veeva as platforms to support

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the relationship with the Global Sales, Services and Marketing, utilizing proactive account management strategies, and develop strong business relationships
  • Act as a lead for all Salesforce requirements, integrations, development and Administration.
  • Responsible for business and functional analysis, project management and risk analysis.
  • Develop and maintain custom data input screens, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and workflow.
  • Maintain the functional areas of data management, accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, Quotes, Orders, Cases, etc.
  • Manage data migration and data cleansing from existing applications and spreadsheets into new Salesforce.com applications.
  • Assist with the training of new and existing end users
  • Create, execute and maintain automated customer communications at various stages of the customer lifecycle.
  • Maintain system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity.
  • Identify usage problems and craft technical / communication plans to remedy.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM, marketing, and Sales / Service operations
  • Responsible for building out roadmap for CPQ/CLM and driving efficiencies in Salesforce Platform. 
  • Assist in the design & implementation of APIs and web-based interfaces.
  • Manage outsourced Salesforce.com implementation partners as required.
  • Develop training materials and train users on Salesforce.com functionality.
  • Work closely with business and outside vendors to provide the support.
  • Lead release and deployment processes for assigned projects.
  • Working with PM and Scrum Master to delegate tasks and tickets to appropriate team members.
  • Provide high quality solutions to business problems for CRM for Sales and Marketing
  • This is a Hands-on role for a person that can roll up their sleeves for Salesforce Administration, Configuration, design and development discussions and triaging with business personnel.

Basic Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of interactions with an enterprise ERP as well as making use of third-party web services
  • Experience with production launch readiness and cloud-based deployment models*
  • Experience building Custom Fields and Objects*
  • Understanding of eCommerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus
  • Experience with Process Builder, Floes, approval processes and validations*
  • Exposure to Integration Tools such as Mulesoft or Boomi*
  • Exposure to BI Applications such as Tableau, Salesforce Einstein Analytics.
  • Hands on experience in administering Salesforce for User Access, custom objects, permission sets, field level security, workflow, process builder
  • Comply with quality system regulations, standards and procedures*
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • 8+ Years of experience in the IT industry with a minimum of 6+ yrs as a salesforce lead and architect at an enterprise level.
  • 6+ years hands-on experience in Salesforce development including Marketing, Sales, Service, eCommerce, HealthCloud, CPQ and Communities.
  • 5+ years of experience with custom configuration and Lightning of Salesforce.
  • Experience with writing Apex Triggers, Dataloader and custom code.
  • Experience working with business and technology leaders to solve complex business and systems problems.
  • Experience leading offshore teams.
  • Strong technical and functional troubleshooting skills
  • DevOps experience a plus.
  • Scrum Agile certification a plus
  • PMP certification a plus
  • SalesForce certified administrator required, and other SalesForce developer certifications preferred
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field required
