As a Senior International Accountant you will play a pivotal role on Penumbra's Finance team. You will be responsible for our monthly close process including account reconciliations, balance sheet and income statement analysis for international subsidiaries. A strong attention to detail is required in this role as you will work with complicated currency transactions with both internal and external personnel in various countries
What You'll Do
Prepare journal entries for the monthly close according to US GAAP
Perform monthly account reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for management review
Manage subsidiaries statutory audits
Calculate sales commission for APAC and ROW regions
Review and project cash needs and related funding
Prepare intercompany entries for cross charges
Provide assistance with U.S. quarterly and annual financial audits
Review staff accountant’s journal entries and accounts reconciliations as needed
Assist with special projects as needed
What You Bring
The desire to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 3-5+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
CPA and public accounting experience preferred.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles and auditing practices and principles.
