Pinterest Seattle is starting a new team to focus on some of our critical internal business problems. We’re looking for a leader to help build the team and suite of products from scratch and work closely with internal customers from many disciplines (product, operations, sales) to rapidly deliver creative solutions in an iterative manner. In addition to owning Internal Tools, you’ll have the opportunity to help set the direction for our overall technical vision and continue to expand your team scope as our company continues to grow.
What you’ll do:
Work with PMs and cross functional partners to investigate and prioritize the next generation of features and products
Lead your team by example, grow individuals in their careers, and provide support and oversight to allow your team to become their best selves
Work with engineers on your team (as well as neighboring teams) to estimate and deliver projects on time, providing status/feedback upwards, and requesting help/resources as necessary
Provide technical leadership over your team's projects, helping to design, review, and implement features
Be aware of the health of your project/teams and provide feedback/projects to improve the reliability and scalability of your services
