We’re looking for an enthusiastic and thoughtful team player to join our Policy Team as an Advertising Policy Specialist. You’ll own the development and refinement of policies that determine what ads can run on Pinterest, and you’ll ensure our policies are consistently enforced by maintaining clear enforcement criteria and conducting training. To do this, you’ll work closely with lots of cross-functional partners, including your Policy team counterparts, Marketplace Quality, Legal, and Sales.
What you’ll do:
Become the expert on our ad policies and enforcement guidance.
Provide clear guidance on policy interpretation and enforcement and collect feedback on possible changes.
Maintain thorough policy documentation for internal and external audiences.
Quickly and successfully answer questions about our advertising policies from enforcement team, Sales and other internal audiences.
Train internal audiences on our advertising policies.
What we’re looking for:
2+ years of experience in online advertising policy or operations.
Excellent judgement and critical thinking skills: you can assess numerous inputs to create your own vision and recommendations on how to move forward.
Solid understanding of online advertising trends and risk areas.
A stellar communicator who has strong writing skills and great verbal communication.
A skilled relationship builder who can successfully develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders and is comfortable making decisions.
