We’re looking for a Product Analyst to help the Advertiser Interfaces team with their goal of ensuring the interfaces through which advertisers buy and manage paid marketing is easy, fast and intuitive. You’ll apply quantitative analysis, data mining and data visualization techniques to improve the advertiser experience on Pinterest.
What you’ll do:
Design core performance metrics to measure team success, and create data visualizations and reports to track these metrics over time
Partner closely with product managers and engineers to provide analytics support to help guide product strategy
Design and execute experiments to help quantify the effects of new features
Perform deep dive analyses to understand the current performance and advertiser experience, and identify opportunities for product enhancements
Work with engineering to identify gaps in logging data, and transform raw logs into metrics and actionable insights
What we’re looking for:
Advanced degree in a quantitative field with a proven track record of data-driven decision making in business settings
A self-propelled continuous learner who keeps up with new tools and techniques by taking online classes, attending conferences and getting his/her hands dirty
Expert in SQL and proficient in Python (or R)
Knowledgeable about best practices around data manipulation, building data pipelines, feature engineering and creating dashboards
Ability to lead initiatives across multiple product areas and communicate findings with leadership and product teams
Experience in Ads is a plus
