We’re looking for an experienced L&D professional, with deep experience in performance and talent management. They will help us to create a strategic approach to performance management, that matches the maturity of our organization, and grows as we do into the next 3-5 years. We need someone who will work with cross-functional partners to create programs that enable our employees to have greater transparency into the processes of pay, calibration and where they stand in terms of their performance - relative to the expectations for their role and level. We also want our managers to be able to effectively identify and coach high and low performers with confidence and ensure our pay for performance culture is maintained. You’ll need to be a leader in this space; both innovative and passionate about performance management.
What you’ll do:
Own the perf management strategy at Pinterest (aligning to the broader L&D team objectives)
Manage project team, engage cross-functional partners around shared initiatives
Work closely with HRBPs and Biz leaders to understand the challenges in their orgs and develop plans to address them
Succession planning strategy and create resources, job aids, programs to support this initiative
OKR / Goal setting strategy and create resources, job aids and programs to support this initiative
Work with partners to revise the company’s role expectations (all levels across the org), and embed it into the org.
What we’re looking for:
7+ years of consulting or internal L&D experience
2+ years in a role focused on Manager Capability
Proven experience taking localized content and building it into a scalable, global set of offerings
Able to make connections across multiple work-streams, and contribute where appropriate
Proof of being both pragmatic and business focused - not just academic
Influential at all levels, and comfortable interacting with executives
Able to rally people around a shared goal, project plan - great program and people leader
A proven track record of measuring impact and ROI of perf management initiatives
