Do you want to spend your summer in San Mateo working for PlayStation Network? As an intern at PlayStation Network, you will get to work in a collaborative open environment and get meaningful work across all aspects of our HR team.
About the team
The HR team in San Mateo provides support to the organization through its Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Learning and Development and HRIS teams. They also support the organization through strategic business partnering. The team functions in a fast-paced, open environment where change is constant.
Intern will report directly to the Global Senior Vice President of Human Resources
Summer internship consists of five-phase rotational HR Leadership Program where student will contribute to strategic processes across all areas of HR
Use key HR software like Workday and Greenhouse to effectively support employees
Prepare Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents; and proofread HR documents including policies, training presentations, and external and internal communication
Support the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding
Provide data entry support and audit system information
Communicate and execute key projects including processing new hires, terminations, compliance audits, and record maintenance
Provide assistance to employees and deliver quality solutions, if able, or escalate the request to a more senior team member
Prioritize activities for the best interest of the team when working on joint projects
May be responsible for making meeting and travel arrangements
College junior (or below) or graduate student
At least one year working in an office environment experience preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and information
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Must be open to learning in a team environment and willing to take on responsibility for your own projects
Superior organizational skills; results-focus with superb execution and follow-through; highly detail-oriented

Supported the various aspects of the employee life-cycle from acquisition, onboarding, development, and termination
Developed an understanding around the importance of employment law and compliance, confidentiality, proper maintenance of employee files, and forms management
Experienced the interrelationship of HR with all aspects of the business through strategic business partnering and alignment
