Software QA Engineer  (Contract)

(No 3rd Party - No Corp to Corp)

San Francisco, CA

Job Summary: The Sony Interactive Entertainment Software QA Engineer will join our Client QA team, and will be responsible for testing of new and existing features on multiple platforms and devices in a software development environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute QA related activities
  • Develop, maintain, execute manually and automate test cases
  • Maintain the upkeep of test framework for an application on browser
  • Report, track and verify defects

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • 5+ years experience in browser Testing 
  • 3+ years experience in Cross-platform/browser automation with Selenium/Appium
  • BS in CS or related field (4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree)
  • Previous experience executing automated tests
  • Working knowledge of existing automation frameworks
  • Worked in a scrum/agile environment.
  • Solid knowledge and practice of object oriented programming concepts
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with video streaming technologies
  • Experience with iOS, Android development
