We’re a growth brand in the process of establishing ourselves in the hearts, minds and wallets of highly creative and technical audiences.

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join our internal marketing team to help drive ownership and accountability across social (paid and organic) PR and partnership channels. This role will report directly to our Brand Director and will work closely with the performance marketing team as well as creative team members.


  • Owns strategy and execution of social media (paid and organic) to accelerate new buyer growth and drive traffic to site 
  • Translates business initiatives and marketing plans from other channels into monthly social calendars and tactical plans for YT, FB, IG, TW, LI
  • Develops unique messaging and distribution plans suited for each channel and stage of the customer journey
  • Directs and reviews creative work to ensure social best practices are being incorporated 
  • Measures and reports performance regularly - including follower growth, engagement, traffic and revenue; Identifies trends and optimizes accordingly
  • Regularly reviews industry and competitive trends in order to develop insights and implications for messaging and channels 
  • Uses the Pond5 marketplace as a resource to find and publish valuable content to fill our social media channels; Uses platforms like FB Creative Hub and Canva to adapt Pond5 assets into content for social channels 
  • Writes post copy and metadata for all social content 
  • Works with media agency to implement social CRM and lead gen campaigns
  • Manages Pond5 community across owned social channels; Proactively communicates and reacts to public commentary; Works closely with customer service to respond as needed  
  • Develops strategy and tactical plans to support brand events and partnerships through social media, including real-time creation and publishing, and longer-term strategies 
  • Manages public relations and corporate communications 
  • Works with PR agency to develop press releases and PR launch plans for major business initiatives and partnerships 
  • Measures and reports performance regularly
  • Proactively develops plans and documentation for potential crisis management 
  • Develops strategy and tactical plans to support brand events and partnerships through PR
  • Supports partnerships and content marketing efforts 
  • Develops strategy and tactical plans to promote partnerships and content marketing efforts through PR and social channels 
  • Collaborates with internal teams to inform work based on best practices 
  • Liaises with external partners and agencies to execute with an eye towards earned media 
  • Measures performance regularly, and adapts accordingly
