As an Automation Developer at Prodigy you will be part of an amazing team helping millions of kids learn math in an entirely unprecedented and fun way.

You Will:

  • Develop, maintain and execute automation scripts in the test automation framework for our parent, teacher and admin apps
  • Provide input towards developing an automation strategy for the Game
  • Participate in sprint  planning, estimation, and sprint review using agile best practices
  • Analyze automated test coverage and identify areas where coverage could be improved
  • Work closely with Developers and QA to maintain and update a suite of existing automated tests
  • Review pull requests to ensure every test meets our code quality standards
  • Work collaboratively within high performance scrum team to ensure the clarity of business / functional requirements
  • Constantly looking for ways to improve Prodigy’s game and website. We have an environment where good ideas win, and your ideas could help shape our product

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of 1 year in Test Automation
  • Minimum of 3 years in QA
  • At least 1 year experience working within an Agile Environment
  • Experience using any testing framework such as Mocha, Jasmine, Protractor, Selenium etc along with a strong foundation on any programming language such as Python, Javascript or Java
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git
  • A passion for user experience and performance
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to master new applications and technologies quickly
  • A love for learning and staying on top of the latest in test automation

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Xamarin etc
  • Built test automation frameworks from scratch
  • Familiarity with REST endpoint architecture
  • Experience training or knowledge sharing on automation frameworks
  • Webdriver.io, Node.js, Jasmine, Chimp.js
