Role: Experience Architect

You deliver at high velocity with high attention to detail while being able to take lead on one or two client engagements or a single workstream of one of our biggest clients. The XA must be able to understand and advocate for true human-centered design and best practices, have strong internal and client communication skills, and be comfortable presenting. A big part of your role is to be the primary subject matter expert on a project and its workstream(s) as well as the client’s vertical. You are self-motivated, excellent at time-management, with the capacity and drive for complex work. These strengths will help you to realistically scope a project’s efforts and delegate project tasks to the team you’re leading. You are also able to recognize and escalate risks to scope when they appear. Additionally, your knowledge of established tools is deep in your muscle memory, and you keep your eye out for emerging tools. You have a high tolerance for ambiguity and know how to build and persuasively deliver rationale.
Key responsibilities:

      Work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure continuity, leverage other specializations, and maintain holistic perspective
      Collaborate with Design Researchers on translating research findings into potential design solutions
      Analyze products and create various product research deliverables (i.e. heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews, etc.)
      Lead the execution of design deliverables by shaping the user experience vision into design solutions and specific tasks
      Holds holistic brand, customer, and user goals in mind when designing
      Understands and executes human-centered processes
      Possesses ownership of user experience design solutions created by team   
      Ensure quality of user experience deliverables and presentations
      Ensures quality of deliverable is in line with methodology, best practice, trends, company standards and SOW.
      Define and evolve comprehensive user experience specifications 
      Conduct quality reviews of deliverables in terms of missing requirements, grammar, presentation, flow, etc.
      Present creative solutions to clients with well-articulated and relevant rationale
      Identifies and proactively raise risks for when deliverables are in jeopardy of not being created timely or of appropriate quality
      Mentors other designers through demonstration and clear process explanation
      Works with Program Managers to ensure client satisfaction and client projects have proper balance between quality, timeliness, and profitability

Key qualifications:

      Eight or more years of UX experience preferably with a consulting company 
      Eight or more years leading digital client engagements with creative teams 
      Experience designing and leading efforts for software applications, preferably at enterprise level  
      Juggle competing priorities and provide structure for oneself and one’s teams 
      Proficient with design & prototyping tools such as Sketch & Invision


      Bachelor and/or Master Degree in a Relevant Field of Study is Preferred (i.e. Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, New Media, Engineering, Liberal Arts, etc.)
