About the Role:

We're looking for help with application health operations who are passionate about building the right tools and the right systems to keep our systems running smoothly. Employees in this role will build systems and tools that help give us early detection of systems issues and respond to production situations that are impacting customers. In addition, they will help contribute to our future plans for scaling our hosting solution as we grow to meet customer demand.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Production application site reliability with PagerDuty rotation
  • Monitoring tools and crisis response
  • Hosting infrastructure and deployment
  • Building and maintaining tools that detect site availability / performance issues
  • Responding to application issues that affect our customer experience
  • Building systems and tools to facilitate rapid release and deployment schedules

Candidate Requirements:

  • BS/MS in a Computer Science or other related engineering field
  • 5+ years of professional engineering experience
  • 1+ years of experience with standard cloud hosting providers
  • Strong understanding of scalability and web technologies
  • Strong experience with AWS, Postgres, ElasticSearch, Redis
