We are searching for a Program Administrator who will help to track, manage and direct a team developing tomorrow’s environmental accounting tools.

Filecoin Green is a fast-growing initiative dedicated to measuring, reducing and mitigating environmental impacts within the Filecoin ecosystem and beyond. We believe that the core promise of Web3 - to push power to the margins by upgrading our computing infrastructure to be publicly verifiable and widely interoperable - will supercharge environmental accounting over the coming decade and play a powerful role in improving global sustainability. Our team aims to catalyze this by enabling teams across the Filecoin ecosystem to verifiably report their emissions, and to use these data as the basis for impact reductions.

This far-reaching project spans partnerships with academic labs, collaborations with other Web3 teams, in-house tool development, and efforts to align incentives to accelerate global decarbonization. As the Program Administrator, you will have a bird’s eye view of all this work and aim to keep teams coordinated and on-track. You will also have a role in communicating to the broader community, building onramps for interested teams and individuals to get involved.

As a Filecoin Green Program Administrator, you will…

Track progress and milestones of projects and document as needed
Contribute to and maintain the Filecoin Green website and social media presence
Manage the development, implementation, and utilization of a comprehensive content management system
Manage the team’s calendars, expenses, and planning and ensure they are being supported and well-informed of upcoming commitments, responsibilities, any follow-up as needed, and are prepared with materials and information for meetings, events, and travel.
The program has a number of ongoing grant initiatives and the position will include coordination of all the documentation required.
Track contacts, meetings and collaborations with partner organizations
Implement systems to support program operations.

You may be a fit for this role if you have…

3+ years of related professional experience as described above
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to quickly aggregate and analyze information
Proven ability to build trust, confidence, respect and effective working relationships among individuals at all levels of the organization and with stakeholders and business partners
A genuine passion for issues related to energy, environmental justice and environmental sustainability

Bonus points if you have experience with…

Either founding a startup, administration in academic research, or project management at a technology company
Experience in policy and research supporting and advocating on issues of energy and environment
Renewable energy development Carbon accounting
