About the role

As our Localization Program Manager, you will be joining our Global Experience (GX) team to help us lead localization initiatives from start to finish. Equipped with strong project management and localization best practices expertise, you will help Qualtrics to execute our multilingual content strategy, working with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that our users and customers around the world can access and enjoy our platform and content ecosystem.

The role can be based in Dublin (Ireland) or London (United Kingdom). This is a functional program management position, and not a people management or leadership role. You will report to the Global Head of Localization based in London.

A day in the life

These are the initiatives where you will take the lead as our Localization Program Manager:

  • Establish and embed robust program management practices across localization projects, including project planning, action tracking, risk management, and status reporting.
  • Oversee delivery of a portfolio of localization projects (some led by you, some led by others across the team), ensuring consistency in how projects are structured, and identifying overlapping milestones, tasks, risks, etc.
  • Coordinate localization program status reporting, including writing up weekly scorecards, escalating program risks and providing updates for MBRs / QBRs as required.
  • Drive the execution of launch readiness practices to manage the launch of localized customer-facing content (e.g. product, marketing, onboarding, demos, support pages, etc.) into local markets, and ensure adherence to localization standards and rubric.
  • Analyze current pain points in workflows and tools, provide recommendations and successfully implement scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge management toolkit for localization, including documentation of key processes, best practices toolkits, etc.
  • Plan and track project spend against the agreed localization budget, and provide monthly reports to stakeholders as required.


  • 6+ years of experience running cross-functional, global programs 
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, while knowing when to escalate risks and issues
  • Ability to coordinate technical programs from launch to delivery
  • Solid knowledge of localization practices and internationalization challenges
  • Professional English language skills

Preferred (but not mandatory) additional qualifications

Having some of these skills would be highly valuable, but they should not discourage you from applying to this position:

  • Knowledge of a second language
  • Certification in Project Management
  • Experience working with Translation Management System (TMS) tools
  • Previous experience in a SaaS environment
  • Familiarity with the localization industry or previous experience in the buyer or vendor side of the industry
  • Previous experience as a translator or proofreader
