Technical Services Engineer

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be providing first-class service and support for financial institutions, and general support for our ecosystem. Your role will encompass everything from helping to implement the systems that support our clients, to investigating front-end issues at the consumer level.

You will be interacting with our clients and our community in order to ensure the smooth functioning of Ripple solutions, with an emphasis on high-priority issues.

Responsibilities will include: learning the Ripple product line, resolving issues post-integration, helping to build the systems that serve our framework, dealing one-on-one with our client counterparts, and explaining the concepts & code underlying our software.

What you'll do:

  • Work with Integration and our developers in order to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
  • Interact with the command line and our API
  • Demonstrate, reproduce, successfully debug, and resolve issues
  • Act as the face & voice of the company with clients in the event of an emergency
  • Ensure that the Ripple protocol is performing as per Ripple and clients needs
  • Help to build the infrastructure and systems that keep our customers up to date and informed
  • Successfully debug and resolve customer issues, through multiple channels
  • Contribute documentation to our Knowledge Base

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 2 years experience in web-based software development and software deployment processes
  • Experience with Linux systems and tools
  • Scripting experience, in a popular programming language
  • The ability to communicate your knowledge of enterprise level, commercially available hardware and software products, operating systems, networking systems, and methodologies for integrating web-based products
