About Team & About Role:


The Cloud Direct Team primarily focuses on file based protection for unstructured data (terabytes to petabytes scale of NAS data and millions to billions of files) on premises and in the cloud. To be successful in this role, a candidate would ideally have:

• Enjoy learning new technologies continuously and rapidly reinventing your skill set
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field of study and 5+ years of working experience
• Experience working in large scale distributed systems design and backend development
• Knowledge in file systems, protocols (NFS, SMB) is a plus

Experience You’ll Need

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages.
  • Experience working with two or more from the following: Unix/Linux environments, Windows environments, distributed systems, networking, developing large software systems, file systems, storage systems, hypervisors, databases and/or security software development.
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++ or Go.
  • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
  • Able to identify scalable and elegant solutions to complex problems
