The Role:

We are looking for an experienced technical recruiter to join our growing Talent Team. You will be responsible for all stages of the recruiting cycle including: sourcing, interviewing and closing technical candidates across the engineering, database, data science, operations and products teams. This individual will bring excellent communication skills, professional judgment, and intellectual curiosity to their role as well as a fanatical attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and an unyielding ‘candidate-first’ mindset.

The ideal candidate has experience doing full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced growth organization and a passion for building high-functioning teams.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source active and passive candidates through creative and strategic sourcing methods including but not limited to employee referrals, networking, research, and advanced search tools
  • Supervise and drive the end-to-end interview process including creation of the job description, interview process plan, technical testing and hiring scorecard; drive internal and external compensation or skills benchmarking, references checks, salary research and approval as a well as offer negotiation
  • Serve as the first and primary point of contact for technical candidates; educate them on the Sailthru product, team and Company at large, prepare them for interviews, provide timely, regular and thorough communications to them re: the interview process and as well as pertinent feedback
  • Contribute to organizational Talent reporting; drive weekly and monthly reporting to Technical teams and Managers on various measures of Talent progress, efficiency and productivity
  • Contribute to internal reporting and benchmarking on compensation
  • Contribute to organizational and team headcount planning in partnership with functional and financial leadership
  • Work with HR Business Partners to anticipate, manage and plan for HR-related organizational change (including internal promotions, transfers, relocations or attrition)
  • Manage company talent recruiting channels and tools including Careers Website, LinkedIn, HackerRank, Hired, as well as agency relationships
  • Organize new and manage existing talent sourcing/branding events via personal and professional networks, employer partnerships, schools, continuing education programs and function or skill-specific meetups
  • Drive training and development of interviewing best practices and techniques across technical teams
  • Contribute to continual measurement of our talent processes; identify insights based on that measurement that can help to make us better at what we do

Desired qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a solid GPA
  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally in a startup environment
  • Track record of success collaborating with internal business partners to find, engage and hire exceptional talent
  • Passionate about “relationship-driven” recruiting and a demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships with prospective candidates
  • Metrics- and process-driven, passionate about numbers as well as people
  • Impeccable follow-up and a fanatical attention to detail; comfortable handling a robust pipeline of candidates and juggling multiple priorities
  • Superior communication skills
  • Personal confidence, professional poise and excellent judgment
  • Experience with recruiting tools (ATS, LinkedIn, StackOverflow, Hired etc.)
