That way, our customers can focus on building amazing products and personalized messages for their customers, letting us take care of the complexities of processing their customer data reliably at scale. We're looking to grow our sales team by finding bright, hardworking Sales Development Reps who can help develop our outbound strategy. We're still a young team, so each member plays an integral role in building the foundation of our future sales organization. At Segment, you will be joining a team that is dedicated to helping you learn the B2B software sales industry, and develop your career. We promote from within and provide a wide range of opportunities to become an Account Executive or expand into other roles at Segment.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Respond to, and qualify incoming web and inquiries regarding interest in Segment products
  • Craft a great first impression to our prospects and customers by adding value during every customer touchpoint
  • Spearhead the growth & adoption of Segment
  • Partner with our experienced AEs to help fill pipeline and grow your skills
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest, and excitement in Segment products.
  • Engage in team development and mentoring
  • Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business

You’re a great fit if you…

  • You have 1–2 years of work experience, SDR/BDR experience is a plus
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • You have knowledge of the marketing technology industry
  • You are hungry to be great
  • You have high energy and a positive attitude
  • You are enthusiastic about learning the software sales space
  • You have intellectual curiosity and high ambition
