About This Role

Our Sales Development team is the first point of contact and plays an extremely important role in the customer experience. We are looking for a leader to build a team focused on taking passive merchants to educated buyers.

What You Will Do

  • Hire, train and manage a team of sales development associates responsible for qualifying and generating appointments with potential ShopKeep customers
  • Develop tools and strategies to maximize goal attainment
  • Bridge the gap between sales and marketing efforts to increase our chat lead volume
  • Collaborate on demand generation strategy and best practices
  • Coordinate and schedule sales product training for all relevant feature roll-outs
  • Conduct team meetings and evaluations; create training and sales sessions to inspire development and results
  • Create a successful and positive culture noted by exceptional individual and team performance & high morale

What You Need

  • 3+ years of professional experience including 1+ of inside sales management
  • A proven track record of  successful hiring, training and development of talented sales people
  • Ability to leverage CRM data for day-to-day management
  • Experience in transactional sales; preferably in the local SMB space
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams

Preferred

  • SaaS and SMB experience
  • Extensive knowledge of SalesForce
