Experimentation Operations Specialist

The Automation organization is responsible for enabling and measuring the unified customer journey, intelligently empowering customers through Square's ecosystem of products. Marketing Technology (MarTech) is an essential team within the Automation organization and is focused on making growth and analytics more effective and efficient. MarTech binds the tools, technology, data, and individual team initiatives across Square to advance growth of the entire ecosystem.
As an Experimentation Operations Specialist, you will help drive experimentation across Square’s marketing teams. You will be responsible for working with cross functional teams to design, build and deliver experiments that help Sellers discover Square products and drive growth.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to refine A/B test ideas with clear problem statements, hypothesis, KPIs, required sample size etc.
Support product and marketing managers with test prioritization and manage test collisions
Own the quality of experiments and their associated data by implementing a robust quality assurance strategy
Ensure integrity of data across experimentation and analytics platforms
Support the evolution and expansion of the experimentation program by providing implementation guidance and governance
2+ years of relevant experience in experimentation and analytics
Proficient in SQL and experience working with relational databases
Experience using Optimizely, Google Optimize or other A/B testing tools
A deep understanding of how browsers work and experience with web performance testing tools
A willingness to learn and ability to work across multiple teams and projects
You have experience with UX design and tools such as Figma and Sketch
You have experience creating dashboards using analytics tools like Amplitude and Adobe Analytics
You have experience working in a Content Management System (CMS)
