Help the world share their story

Squarespace seeks a Creative Developer who shares our passion for building the future of the web. You’ll help us forge new frontiers by building innovative experiences for Squarespace’s own web presence. Your intuitive compassion for the user drives you to create novel experiences using the latest browser technologies. You’re ready to join a team building some of the most impactful, award-winning, high-traffic websites on the internet.

This year, we’re excited to open up positions for graduating university seniors or anyone seeking their first full-time engineering role. The ideal candidate is a trained engineer with a passion for artistic expression; many have dual degrees or double majors. You’re a tinkerer, constantly creating new experiences with a variety of creative tools and web technologies.

The Squarespace Websites team spawns new projects from both strategic insights and creative briefs. Working closely with our world-renowned designers, we use data-driven insights, experimentation, and play to craft an experience worthy of the customers we attract. Our own Developer Platform powers the sites we build, visited by millions each month. Examples include www.squarespace.complayinglynch.com, and dreamingwithjeff.com. Our cadence is fast, and our ideas bold. We work with any tool that fits the job: from WebGL to Vanilla JS. Join our team of world-class designers and engineers to build the best work of your career.
