StepStone Infrastructure & Real Assets ("SIRA") is a global team that focuses on supporting institutional investors across all stages of their infrastructure and real assets investment programs, including with new and existing investments in infrastructure, timber, agriculture and energy. SIRA has investment professionals with significant infrastructure and real asset experience, based in Canada, the US, UK and Australia.
The Investment Analyst of StepStone Infrastructure & Real Assets in London will be responsible for providing analytical and other support to the broader international team in advising clients on investments in infrastructure and associated real asset sectors globally.
Essential Job Functions:
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills – ability to analyse financial statement analysis, valuation bridges, comparable public companies, and prepare sensitivity/scenario analysis;
Strong memo / presentation writing skills;
Ability to undertake research regarding, and diligence of, potential investment opportunities and sectors
Ability to construct an argument around investment decisions and effectively communicate that argument both verbally and in written materials; be able to defend your position in a team environment, including Investment Committee meetings;
Strong client interaction skills – ability to interact with clients and prepare advisory materials as required; and
Support senior staff on sourcing and managing the inflow of investment opportunities
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Experience of 1-2 years at an investment bank (corporate finance or equity research), professional services firm, Limited Partner, or in associated fields
A Bachelor degree (or higher)
